Dr. Ioannis Mavrikakis

Ioannis Mavrikakis is an award-winning oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgeon (oculoplastic surgeon) with international recognition. He plays an active and leading role in academia and training programs. Dr Mavrikakis is the President of the Hellenic Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (HSOPRS) – (2014-2020) and served as a Committee Member of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS) – (2014-2018). His areas of expertise include eyelid diseases (entropion, ectropion, trichiasis, ptosis, eyelid tumors, facial palsy, blepharospasm, eyelid trauma), lacrimal diseases, orbital diseases (anophthalmic socket, thyroid eye disease, orbital tumors, orbital inflammation, orbital fractures), and aesthetic ophthalmology, surgical and non surgical.
