Salomé

Hello! My name is Salomé, I’m the Project Coordinator with Light without Borders. I’ve volunteered from a young age in different countries such as Switzerland, Moldova, Mexico, Peru and Greece. After studying International Relations at the University of Geneva, I’ve been working for four years in different NGOs and refugee camps in Greece, including Lesvos, Ritsona, Nea Kavala and Alexandria camps. I’m now based in Athens and coordinate Light without Borders’ operations in Greece. I support the organisation of each monthly expedition of the mobile eye clinic in the different refugee camps and join all of them. I then organise the distribution of the new glasses with our community volunteers and accompany the patients who need a surgery to the hospital.
